Overview

Bashleo Pass lies above Banjar in Himachal Pradesh and is a serene, high-altitude pass, famous for tranquil forest trails, rolling meadows, and stunning views of the Shrikhand, Kinnaur, and Tirthan mountain ranges. Unlike the more popular Jalori Pass, this place offers untouched beauty, solitude, and a genuinely raw Himalayan trekking experience. The trail cuts its way through thick cedar forests, apple orchards, small traditional villages, and open grasslands filled with wild flowers during summer.

At an altitude of 3,270 meters, the Bashleo Pass trek offers panoramic Himalayan views, a quiet environment, and cool breezes to relax and shoot photos. It is a perfect trek for beginners who want to have a peaceful and scenic one-day or overnight Himalayan hike with minimal crowds and maximum nature.

Highlights

  • Beautiful forest trek with oak, pine & deodar trees.
  • Stunning 360° views of Tirthan Valley, Shrikhand, and Kinnaur ranges.
  • Peaceful meadows & wildflower fields at the top.
  • Less-crowded trail perfect for beginners and nature lovers.
  • Visit small Himachali villages & apple orchards along the route.
